My name is Robyn Robinson, l would like to briefly explain the concept of Art therapy and how it could make a positive difference in the everyday lives of people.

Kajeet Healing Art is a small Art Therapy Business that provides support for people of all ages, male and female and from all walks of life.

Art helps us heal the things that are holding us back in our life, we just need a healing art touch to help us on our life’s journey.

As a qualified Artist, Art and Textile Educator (P-12) and Initiatic Art Therapist, I use all the mediums of visual arts such as painting, sculpture, clay, drawing, collage, textiles (sewing) and many other ways of creating art (music, dance ,writing) during my art therapy sessions.

I provide a safe and healing space to help you express and release whatever you need help with in your life right now such as anxiety, depression, adolescent issues, family and relationships, trauma and loss, decision making, self-esteem issues, mental health and alcohol and drugs recovery, disability, postnatal depression and senior mental health.

My many years of work and life experience includes:

Teaching Art & textiles P-12 Victoria
Working with disengaged Youth (secondary college) & and youth services.
Health, welfare and well-being service in schools and community services
Alcohol and other Drugs (AOD) youth outreach worker
Health and Community Care (HACC) Coordinator for a small community centre in remote WA
Remote teaching in WA
Living and working in Aboriginal communities I was involved in education, aged care, women’s groups, art and textile groups, community health and welfare, art exhibitions, environment and bush camps projects.
